New housing set for Beaminster, Owermoigne, Sherborne and  Puddletown

The green light has been given for a planning applications proposing nearly 100 new homes in west Dorset.

Consent was given for separate applications for sites in Beaminster, Owermoigne Sherborne and  Puddletown with a total of 97 properties.

The approvals were for

 

Nine flats at Castle Court, Coldharbour Business Park, Sherborne

Nine homes north of East Farm Lane in Owermoigne

Forty-one new properties on land north west of Three Lanes Way, Puddletown – including 14 affordable homes

Thirty-eight new houses, Broadwindsor Road, Beaminster – all proposed as affordable housing.

 

The schemes have been given permission under delegated powers over the past month.

At Beaminster, the new  homes are on the former Clipper Teas Ltd site. The business has relocated to a new site in the town.
